Some good news! In 2020 Miranda bought a very athletic horse named Lachain Crux and invested lots of energy in him as she recognised he was a rare talent.
Alas in 2022 he became quite boisterous and too strong for her.
Following Miranda’s death he was cared for by Klaudia Meeres and hunted and low level show jumped by Holly Horton.
Charles then followed Miranda’s wish that he should become a proper show jumper and placed Crux with Jay Halim.
NAF Equestrian 5* CLUB with Jay Halim are collaborating with the Miranda Filmer Fund to raise awareness about Neuroendocrine cancer via social media and their 5*Club communication channels.
Jay is mad about ‘Cruxy’ and together they have forged a terrific partnership and have already enjoyed tremendous success at Hickstead, Chard and Bolesworth, and this is after only a few months with Jay.
Crux is already competing at Grand Prix against some top horses in the showjumping word and the NAF Equine 5* CLUB are helping us raise awareness about Neuroendocrine cancer.
